- She is the best of all roses, one whose petals display and bare a beauty of herself so surreal that it has to be false, that we close our eyes and imagine this just has to be a dream. And yet her thorns prick the senses into the realization that this is not a dream and we awake and open our eyes to see that the rose and her beauty is truly there. She is better than a dream; she is real. And that such a rose could exist in reality; nothing could possibly be sweeter.
